Bingo comes to the stage in “Queen of Bingo,” the new interactive comedy that recently opened at the Plymouth Playhouse in Plymouth, Minnesota. The show even offers audience members a chance to play bingo together with the cast, toward the grand prize of a frozen turkey.
"Queen of Bingo," however, isn't all fun and games; it also boasts a plot. The storyline follows two sisters with a shared passion for bingo. To spice things up a bit, the parts of the two sisters are performed by men.
The bingo-themed show is directed by Rowan Joseph, who serves as producing director of Garry Marshall’s Falcon Theatre in Burbank, California. Bingo fans can catch "Queen of Bingo" every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Plymouth Playhouse. The show is set to run for the next six months.
