In anticipation of this month's £1million Ground Shaker 2 bingo showdown, the UK's National Bingo Game Association has hired a life coach to help players get ready for the event. While it's common knowledge that bingo is a game of luck, life coach Paul Bellard claims that luck is completely under our control.
Bellard has devised an approach to help players change their state of mind, and thus, he believes, their luck. According to Bellard, “The key factor in changing your luck is that it all starts within you. The way in which you perceive the world through your eyes will dramatically improve your life and how lucky you feel if you are positive and self-assured." Bellard's plan is a 10-step method relating to a person's approach to bingo, as well as life in general.
These perspectives include gems such as, "Use incantations: Take the time to talk positively to yourself – we all have voices in our heads so put it to good use as you travel to the bingo club. For instance, I AM a lucky person, I EXPERIENCE good luck everyday, I am SO lucky." and " Visualise success: See yourself winning, imagine people congratulating you, then remember how that feels and exaggerate that feeling. Stand up and clench your fist as you access how that makes you feel and remember that feeling!"
