A woman from the Central English town of Kidderminster walked away from a local bingo hall £202,000 richer. Well, at least she could have, had she not made a promise to her fellow bingo playing buddy to split their winnings. She allegedly plans to stick to her work, sharing winnings with her friend.
The woman won the £200,000 national prize, in addition to a £2,069 regional prize and a club prize of £168. She struck gold after finishing off a full house in just 42 numbers, which was the earliest call in the 500 clubs playing around the country.
The woman was quoted as saying that she had no intention of quitting her job, in spite of her newly acquired wealth.
