Players at Park Place Bingo in Salinas, California got quite a fright when an unidentified man held up their bingo hall at gunpoint. The perpetrator allegedly entered the bingo parlor through the backdoor at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Friday night and approached a security guard on duty, placing a pistol to the guard's head.
The robber, dressed all in black with a ski mask covering his face, gave the guard a bag and demanded he go tell the cashier to load it with money. As soon as the cashier followed the orders and delivered the bag full of cash, the robber ran out through the back door through which he entered. He escaped with the money and has as of yet not been captured by police.
