Mecca Bingo, a leading UK Bingo Brand with 120 bingo clubs and over five thousand workers, is employing a new staff training system developed by AdVal Learning Solutions (ALS).

The system allows the central offices of Mecca Bingo to monitor each employee’s training program, as well as to check statistics of a club or region, and even to look at company-wide trends.

The company’s IT manager, Joanne Elliot said that this tool is so crucial because “We maintain a high degree of customer-staff interaction with over five million Mecca Bingo members."

"With the company expanding so quickly, we found that training and managing a growing workforce over such a wide geographical area presented some problems. We needed to implement a program that gave us control over the learning process."

Each employee learns at the particular club, logging into a server which records information about the employee’s training process, the learning progress, and assessments. The central offices of Mecca Bingo can monitor each employee’s training program, as well as to check statistics of a club or region, and even look at company-wide trends.

The central system allows Mecca Bingo’s management to disseminate updated learning materials at regular intervals, and to make sure that each employee has access to the material on time. The central management branch can check how much time employees have spent using the learning materials, and the results of any assessments.
