Pittsburgh’s National Aviary has introduced the newest type of bingo: penguin poop bingo. It sounds strange mostly because it is. At the aviary promotion of National Migratory Bird Days, the staff spread out a giant 75 number bingo board. They then allowed the penguins to walk on it.
Instead of the usual contraptions used to draw bingo numbers, however, the Pittsburgh aviary decided to use randomly deposited bird feces to determine numbers. When a penguin dropping landed on a number, that number was to be called. Apparently, it’s not easy to find a bird-related game that will keep visitors interested. Aviary staff members hoped that Penguin Bingo would be a big success.
