The Rehab Group, a non-profit organization working for rights and economic help for disabled and marginalized Irish citizens, is launching a new bingo site. The new bingo site will be launched on the Parlay Bingo network. The Rehab group provides access training, jobs, commercial services, and social care for 60,000 people in about 200 centers throughout Ireland. The Rehab group is expanding from its current site which hosts an online lottery, and is also adding a full bingo site to help raise more funds for the NGO, which has projects around the world, including a center for 8,000 Kenyan women, and a program for several hundred school-aged children in Sowento, South Africa.
Managing Director for Irish Rehab Lotteries, John McGuire, said that he thinks that with 40% of Irish homes having internet access and 38% of Irish adults buying online, it only makes sense to merge the charity-friendly bingo games with the new technologies. He said that he expects the new bingo site to help the organization fund the Irish Rehab’s training, health care, social care, and employment services for the socially disadvantaged and handicapped.
Andre Branscombe, Vice President of Sales at Parlay Entertainment, the world’s #1 provider of online bingo solutions, said that Parlay is pleased to be able to offer this service for Irish Rehab, and hopes that bingo players will appreciate being able to help the charity while enjoying the online games.
