Bingo hasn't hit Broadway yet, but it's close. Bingo fans can see the show 'Bingo' at The Theatre at St. Luke's starting October 21. The show, of course, includes an interactive game for audience members. The show's earlier version premiered in California, at the Hermosa Beach Playhouse, in 2001.
'Bingo,' tells the story of Patsy, Honey, and Vern, who have driven through a hurricane in order to play bingo in the Hamerin County's St. Luke's Church basement. The show was written by Michael Heitzman and Ilene Reid, and David Holcenberg joined the writers to write the lyrics and music.
'Bingo' is directed by Thomas Caruso. Set design is by Eric Renschler, and costumes are by Carol Brys. Sound is by Lewis Mead, while orchestrations are by Steve Bishop.
