The world's preeminent provider of Internet Bingo solutions, Parlay Entertainment, has released record results for the third and first three quarters of 2005.
Parlay Entertainment's main financial disclosures included record third quarter revenue of $1,574,497, up 60% from the third quarter of 2004, and record third quarter net income of $262,583, up from the $28,609 net loss posted for the same period last year.
Parlay Entertainment gets its income from from licensing software to other companies, charging installation fees, and providing technical support to its clients. Among some of the company's third quarter achievements were the addition of new brands to their St. Minver online bingo network that targets the Spanish-speaking marketplace, the addition of Caliente, a new software licensee that launched Spanish-language website ebingocaliente to target the Mexican bingo marketplace, and profiting from the launch of new 90-number bingo sites by four of its existing UK licensees .
Understandably proud of his company's success, Parlay Entertainment President and CEO Scott F. White said that the third quarter revenue gain “reflects the growing acceptance of bingo as an online offering, especially in new markets such as the UK”
White also mentioned that while about 40% of Parlay Entertainment revenue comes in from the UK, “as certain new licensees start to offer bingo to Spanish-speaking countries, we expect further opportunities to diversify our geographical revenue sources.”
