Police forces around the world have much to learn from the tenacious officers patrolling the streets of Clearfield, Utah. The local police force reportedly spent no less than 18 months in undercover surveillance of a social club in the small town of just under 26,000 souls, suspecting something fishy. Apparently the force was sufficiently satisfied with its year-and-a-half-long stakeout to finally act on its collective hunch. About 20 armed officers burst into the social hall this week to catch people running, horror of horrors, bingo games!

The execution was flawless as the score of law enforcers took down the bingo operation in one fell swoop. The boys in blue must've cocked quite the eyebrow when their surveillance revealed the club's patrons shelling out $30 apiece for “dinner,” which basically translated into a burrito and some bingo cards. Having had 18 months to prepare for the raid, the police are sure to have compiled reams of evidence that should serve to try and fry the bingo bastards.
