One of the world's leading online bingo sites, Bingo.com, has released its year-end results. The main figures indicate strong growth for the online bingo company, with a 71% increase in revenue to almost $2 million for the whole of 2005. This translated into a net profit of $120,790 for Bingo.com. Revenue from the fourth quarter alone accounted for about one-third of the total 2005 revenue, with the company taking in a little over $650,000 during that period.

Tarrnie Williams, CEO of Bingo.com, hailed the company's growth, saying that "2005 was a landmark year ... our online gaming strategy was successfully implemented and has recorded strong growth since its initial launch. With our reduced reliance on advertising revenue, Bingo.com is now in a position to increase its marketing efforts and drive significant traffic into the cash games. We expect 2006 to be a record year for online bingo and Bingo.com."
