Pollard Banknote Limited Partnership, a Canada-based bingo paper manufacturer, recently announced that the company had reached an agreement with Manitoba Lotteries Corporation (MLC), under which it is required to provide MLC with bingo paper. The newly-signed contract is scheduled to come into effect this month.
The initial term of the contract is three years, with an option for MLC to extend the term for two additional years. The bingo paper will be used at the Winnipeg-based Club Regent and McPhillips Street Station casinos and at licensed bingo tournaments around the Manitoba region. Under the contract, Pollard Banknote is required to supply as many as 900 million individual bingo cards on an annual basis.
Jennifer Westbury, Vice President, Sales & Marketing of Pollard Banknote, was quoted as saying, "MLC is a new customer for Pollard Banknote's bingo paper, and we are thrilled the Lottery has chosen to work with us. [...] While we sell bingo paper to many private charitable gaming distributors in North America, this contract brings us our first lottery customer for bingo paper."
