Mick Bailey, the frenzied man who recently caused a major commotion in the British town of Stratton, reportedly blamed his wife's bingo habits for his unusual behavior. The 54-year-old Bailey, who admitted to a drinking problem, was involved in a three-hour stand-off with the local police after he locked himself inside his house and threatened to commit suicide.

On a later occasion, Bailey was reported as saying that the aforementioned incident was triggered by his wife Cris' preparations for her bingo night. The couple started arguing about the wife's frequent bingo outings. The fight apparently got out of control.

After the incident, the bingo-playing wife decided to leave the family home with her 12-year-old daughter. For his part, Bailey offered a public apology.
