A 72-year-old woman from the British town of Prestatyn, South Wales, recently hit a £20,000 (~$37,000) bingo jackpot on the National Bingo game "Afternoon Delight." The mother of two and grandmother of four, who wished to remain anonymous, has been playing bingo on a regular basis for the past 20 years at the Apollo Club, in the neighboring town of Rhyl.

Shortly after hitting the bingo jackpot, the lucky winner reportedly said that, according to her daughter, the unexpected win was sent from after-life by her late husband who passed away three years ago.

When asked about her plans regarding the bingo money, she reportedly replied that she had no intention of saving it and that her first expense would be made on house renovations. The sudden windfall would not stop her from visiting the bingo club and meeting her friends, she added.
