A fugitive suspected of bank robberies in the areas of Dayton and Cincinnati, Ohio, was recently apprehended in Indianapolis, Indiana. Warren Lee Back was caught following a phone call he made to a police detective whom he met at a bingo parlor in Covington, Kentucky.
While on the phone, Back urged his bingo acquaintance, Detective Mike McGuffey, to watch a certain episode of the "America's Most Wanted" show featuring his profile.
Back is reportedly known for other wrongdoings as well. Before developing a career in bank robbery, he was also suspected of stealing pull-tab bingo cards from a Covington bingo parlor where McGuffey had been working as an off-duty security guard. At the time, Back was using a fake identity and pretended to be a financial adviser.
The alleged bingo thief and bank robber was arrested by FBI agents in less than two weeks after the phone call to McGuffey.
