1/2 lb beef 1 salt 1 pepper 4 tb cornstarch, divided 1 tb soy sauce 1 tb brandy 1 garlic clove, pressed 1/2 c onion, chopped 1/4 lb snow peas 1 c chicken broth, heated 1/4 c water
Instructions
Cut beef into chunks, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Roll in 2 T cornstarch. Add beef to soy sauce and brandy; mix well.
Saute garlic; remove. Cook meat (do not add extra batter); remove.
Stir fry onion till limp, add snow peas and heated broth. Cover and steam 15 to 20 seconds, until veggies are crisp-tender. Return meat and thicken with 2 T cornstarch, dissolved in 1/4 cup cold water.
