Ingredients /n/n 6 pork chops/n 1 a smear of oil/n 1/4 c onion soup mix/n 3 oz sliced mushrooms/n 2 tb flour/n 1 cn (6 oz) (2/3 cup) evaporated /n -milk/n 1 parsley for garnish/n/nInstructions/n/nTrim fat off pork chops. Brown chops in oil in a heavy skillet. Drain off/nany fat. Mix 1 cup water to onion soup mix. pour over the chops. Cover/nskillet and simmer until chops are tender (40-45 minutes)./n/nAdd evaporated milk and mushrooms to pan. Combine flour and 1/4 cup cold/nwater. Blend into pan juices. Cook and stir under low heat until thick and/nbubbly. Sprinkle with parsley.
