The horoscope is the field studied by Astrologers. Astrology is the special art of learning from how the stars project onto our lives on Earth. Since man began, they stared at the skies, dreaming of the stars. When people began to see the movements of the stars, they thought that those movements were messages from the gods.
Astrology follows a simple theory which can be summarized in the sentence: "As above, so below." Stars and planets reflect everything that happens on Earth, from clothing trends to global events to our personal lives.
The planets of our solar system, as well as the sun and the Earth's moon make up the main studies of astrologers. Each of the main heavenly bodies symbolizes a force within each of us. These forces show in every person, and in the planet as a whole.
Astrology is often used as an alternate form of psychology. To determine which factors act on a person, the complete horoscope must be consulted.
The horoscope is comprised of:
Horoscope Planets: Planets represent our own internal forces. Planets include the whole solar system. If you think of an individual's life as a show in the theater, then planets are the inner actor. They represent the forces that act within a person. Mercury is your thinking, while Mars is the fighter in you. These planets affect all people, but depending on their position, they affect every person differently.
Signs: Horoscope Planets move between signs of the zodiac. The sign under which a planet is gives it a special color. The sign affects the planet's inner force and show how the corresponding part of the personality is articulated. If you continue with the example of a stage, the signs are like the costumes. So, for example, Mars in the sign of Libra would express the need to fight differently from how Mars in the sign of Virgo would.
Houses: Houses signify different parts of life. They represent the positions on the stage. The seventh house stands for relationships, so planets that are in the seventh house will form partnerships.
Aspects: Aspects are the inter-relationship of the planets. They serve as the communication between the planets. They are represented as degrees. For example, planets can be in square, or 90 degrees apart. Some relationships are complex, while others are more harmonious.
