It is a six year in a row that Bingo has been a major fund raising program in the Rotary Club. Local Rotarian fund raisers are holding their fingers for their venture to succeed, especially because annual bingo will be conducted on Saturday, Feb. 5. They estimate the club's revenues to reach $6,000 that will be forwarded to various projects they are hoping to realize in the near future.
Prestage Hall of the Sampson County Agri-Exposition Center was set to be the location where the fund-raising event would take place. Starting from 6 pm, the crowd will be allowed to step inside the facility and take part in the early bingo launched at 7 p.m. and followed by the regular bingo game. The Rotary Club takes credit for financing such school programs as C.A.F.E and FRIENDS of Educaiton of Sampson County, a Vile for Life project, Relay for Life and the N.C. Boys and Girls Home.
A single Rotary Bingo ticket enables you to hold 5 packs of bingo comprising about 15 games. A draws up to $100 will be permitted for some eligible ticker holders. Participants will not be restricted in terms of the age as long as they purchase a ticket, but those who have yet reached the age of 16 will have to be escorted by at least one adult.
